These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings for Stillwater Retreat. By making a booking with us you acknowledge that you have read and abide by these terms.
50% of the booking payment is due at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due 14 day(s) before arrival.
Security Deposit - a pre-authorization of AUD 500 is held on 0 day(s) before arrival and voided on 4 day(s) after departure.
We strongly recommend the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may result in the cancellation of your holiday booking.
For cancellations made with notice of 30 days or more prior to your arrival date, a full refund of your 50% payment will be issued.
For cancellations received with less than 30 days to your arrival date there will be no refunds issued and 100% of funds paid at the time of cancellation will be forfeited.

We do not offer refunds for no-shows, change of mind, or if you or any guest does not stay at Stillwater Retreat for the entire stay period.
Check-in time is 2:00pm WST.
Check-out time is 10:00am WST. Late check out will incur additional fees equal to one night’s accommodation.
We may allow for earlier check-in and later check-out times upon request, dependent upon availability.
The maximum number of guests is 4 adults if both bedrooms have been booked, and this number must not be exceeded at any time during your stay.
All guests must be over the age of 21.
Visitors of guests are not permitted to Stillwater Retreat, unless our prior written consent has been obtained. It is the responsibility of guests to ensure that any approved visitors comply with these terms and conditions.
No parties or functions of any kind are permitted at Stillwater Retreat.
Stillwater Retreat is in a bushfire zone and smoking is not permitted at any time, in the chalet, on the deck or around the property. Guests who do not respect this serious rule will be asked to leave the property. In the event that guests smoke inside the chalet or near the chalet and residue smell is unable to be removed with general cleaning, the security deposit will be forfeited.
No children or pets are allowed at Stillwater Retreat at any time.
Guests must take care to look after the property, furnishings and surroundings. Any faults, damages or breakages must be reported to the owners.
On departure the property must be left in a clean and tidy state. You will find check out instructions on the last page of our Information Booklet, which is located inside the chalet.
Stillwater Retreat reserves the right to charge guests for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages inside the chalet and on the property, missing items, extra cleaning and unpaid expenses. An amount equal to the repair or replacement cost for the damaged goods will be withdrawn from the security deposit. A $50 charge will apply if keys are lost or damaged and will be withdrawn from the security deposit.
You must not alter, move or rearrange any furniture, fixtures or fittings inside or outside.
Guests are requested to respect the owners and neighbouring property’s privacy.
Unreasonably loud noise after 10:00pm WST will not be tolerated. Guests in breach of this section may be asked to leave Stillwater Retreat at any time and no refunds will be provided.
No swimming, diving, fishing or any aquatic activities of any kind are permitted in the dams present on the property.
As we are in a rural location, seasonally we may experience heightened levels of pests and while the property is professionally treated periodically, we are unable to control endemic insects on site (especially if windows/doors are left open). Insect spray is provided for guest use.
No commercial activities of any kind (including, but not limited to, photoshoots and video shoots) are permitted at Stillwater Retreat unless our prior written consent has been obtained.
Stillwater Retreat is not liable for any loss or damage to all guests personal property during their stay at Stillwater Retreat. You, and your guests acknowledge that there are risks associated with attending the property. You, on behalf of yourself, your children, your guests, personal representatives and any other heirs, irrevocably agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend, and indemnify Stillwater Retreat and all its staff from any and all claims, actions or losses as a result of bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of participation in all activities while at the property.
No refunds can be made because of a Western Power or WIFI outage occurring during your stay and we apologies if there are any inconveniences.
Any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of either party that prevents or delays the performance of obligations under this agreement shall be considered a force majeure event. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters (such as fire, flood, storm, or earthquake), accidents, pandemics or epidemics (including COVID-19 and its variants), government-imposed travel restrictions or border closures, suspension or cancellation of flights, riots, civil unrest, war or hostilities (whether declared or not), acts of terrorism, labour disputes and industrial actions.
At Stillwater Retreat, we understand these events may affect travel plans. Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performance caused by such force majeure events, provided the event was not caused by the affected party and could not have been reasonably prevented or overcome.
